2. Mercari ; Mercari is an app which is pretty much like ebay without the fees. Since it's people selling items they don't want anymore you can always make an offer on items. You can get a $2 credit for downloading the app and using invite code YYSGQZ make sure you type in all caps or you won't get the credits, also share your code with your friends and family so that you'll get more credits, it doesn't seem like a lot but the credits add up fast.
3. Poshmark ; Poshmark is like Mercari, you can make offers on items as well. You can get a $5 credit but downloading the app and using referral code

The YSL Voxbox is an iconic box that was only sent to 4,000 Influensters and I was lucky enough to be one of the lucky girls to get it. I was super excited to get this voxbox because I was in need of a new mascara to try, my old one was just not doing what I wanted.
So finally I got my voxbox in the mail and I tried it that night. Here is my unboxing video;
My first impression was "WOW, this makes my lashes look great". I loved how thick my lashes looked after applying the mascara. I only applied one coat that evening and I loved the result, there's a photo below from that night;
I have very short eyelashes and very few so I rely on mascara to give me fuller eyelashes and this mascara really made my lashes bolder.
The next day I used the Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils while doing my make up and this time I applied 2-3 coats and I loved the results, my lashes looked so much fuller and my friends noticed it.
The thing I love most about YSL's Effet Faux Cils mascara is that it is has B5 Vitamins so not only does it make my lashes look amazing, it helps keep them soft. After 2-3 coats my lashes weren't clumpy, which has always been a problem for me with other mascaras. The only thing I disliked about the mascara was the smell, alot of girls said they thought it smelled good but I didn't really like it, thankfully it wasn't that strong and didn't last long. I just got two new items today, not much but I'm super excited to have them, especially for this winter weather.
Item number one is this red snowflake/hearts cardigan. I've been wanting a fair isle cardigan for awhile now for the holidays. Even though its past Christmas, we are still having winter weather so I'll still be able to wear it.
The other item is this cute Abercrombie Jacket. I was iffy about getting this but I went ahead and got it because 1. maroon is my favorite color to wear, 2. the inside print is adorable, and 3. it's so warm and with this weather, I need all the layers I can get..
I've been really getting into these thrift shop sites lately and I've actually known about this one for awhile. It's called Poshmark and the thing I love most about it is that you can find rare items and great deals. I scored this rare black floral Brandy Melville dress for $20 including shipping. I just placed my order last night so I haven't received it yet but I am super excited to get it.
I have been looking for this dress forever and I was randomly playing on Poshmark the yesterday and BOOM there it was. I can not wait to style this bad boy. <3 So look forward to seeing this in future lookbook posts.
Now more about Poshmark, Let's go over the basics;
How does it work?
You basically create an account ( Use my Code to get $5 in credit BMSYH ) and look for things you want, whether its a brand or even a specific item. I always search random things I've seen on www.lookbook.nu and like/heart them so I can keep an eye on them. There are tons of rare Brandy Melville and Victoria's Secret Pink items which I love, love, love.
What form of payments do they accept?
You pay with your credit card through the site but some sellers ask that you pay via paypal and they will lower the price. Now lets go over the pros and cons of buying through paypal.
Pros
- the seller doesn't have to deal with Poshmark fees
- shipping fees might cost less
- the seller may be willing to accept a lower price for an item.
Cons
- although in my own personal experience Paypal has been a great form of payment outside of websites, you can get scammed. never send payments gifted, always ask for an invoice and make sure the person lists the item(s) you are purchasing on the invoice.
- Poshmarks Buyer Protector will not be able to help if you get scammed.
With that being said I personally find it better to purchase with your credit card through Poshmark.
Is it safe to order from Poshmark?
You are protected every time you place an order on Poshmark with Posh Protect. When you purchase an item on Poshmark, they keep your payment safe until you tell them that you've received your order. If your item does not match the description, you should notify them within 3 days of delivery. After they verify your claim (through pictures), they'll refund your payment. If they don't hear from you by 3 days after your order is delivered, they will assume everything is OK and release your payment to the seller. Once they release your payment, all sales are final and no refunds will be available.
What if I place an order and its been weeks and I haven't received anything?
Not to worry, Posh Protect helps keep buyers safe from scams, you can go to your order page and click on
Account Tab → My Purchases → Click on the item you purchased → Problems/Order Inquiry.
to inform them that you haven't received your item(s).

I was going through my facebook the other day and seen a few ootd photos so I decided to post another throwback lookbook. Most of these are from 2011.

I absolutely love thrift shopping so I when I heard about Twice I knew I'd have to check it out and I'm so glad that I did. A friend let me use her referral code that gave us both $10 for free! I started browsing the site and noticed they had tons of cute items and all name brand. I also did my research before placing my order to find only good reviews about how they only accept items in perfect condition. So I decided to place my order.
With my first order I decided to use my $10 and a 50% off coupon code and just got a pair of Burgundy Maroon shorts. They arrived after I filmed the video of the second order so they won't be in my video. For my first order I only paid 43 cents! Sadly the shorts did not fit me so I will be giving them to a friend that they will fit.
With the second order I shared my referral link and had some friends sign up so I decided to place another order. I got a total of 9 items, 2 which were for my mother. Most of it was Brandy Melville items because I adore Brandy Melville but I don't have Brandy shop near me. So I was pretty excited to get my package. It arrived in just 5 days which wasn't so bad, the shorts took 9 days to get here. I noticed a lot of people complain about the wait but I didn't mind, I was super excited to get my items but where I have an online shop I know how shipping can be.
I will post photos of how the clothes looked on Twice's site and a video of the items I got and a bit about my review for each product.
I'll start with what I got for my mother.
I noticed they had Levi's Jeans and for great prices. My
mother is very picky when it comes to jeans so I just had to get her some but I couldn't make my mind up about these two pairs so I decided to get her both pairs. She loves them, they fit her perfectly. I love the fact that Twice has the measurements for each item, it really helped me pick her sizes. The jeans both are in great condition and look practically new. Both Levi's was $16.95 each, such a great deal for the condition they are in.
I also got some Brandy Melville tops and a skirt. These two Brandy Melville items are my favorite so far. This cropped sweater came NWT and was only $11.95, the skirt was only $10.95. I love how soft the sweater is and I've always wanted a skirt from Brandy Melville.
The last two Brandy Melville items I got was a cute Black Button Down Tank Top for $9.95 an a Grey Batwing Crop Top for $11.95. I love how cute an simple these items are.
The next item was a Zara Olive Button Up, I've been wanting an army green top and I love how this one has cute gold stud buttons. Normally button downs aren't for me but I decided to just get it to give it a try since I'm trying to be more out there with my style and I'm glad that I did. I can't wait to create looks for my lookbook with this top. This was only $12.95.
The next item I got was this cute White Knit Hollister Top for only $12.95. I love how this can be worn in the summer or layered up for winter.
For this Roxy Grey Knit Sweater I was extremely excited to get it because its Sweater Weather here in West Virginia but I took a leap with this one because it's a size XL, I figured I could wear it with a baggy look but the neck is way too big and falls off me so I am giving it to my sister. It was only $11.95.
Now for Twice I really do recommend it for anyone that likes thrift shopping or for ladies on a budget. I like it so much that I have 5 more orders on their way to me. I have been stalking the site like crazy looking for Brandy Melville items and Sweaters. I loved everything that I've received so far, everything came in great condition.
Twice also worked with me when I had a problem with the site. Some of my referral credits were taken from my account and their customer service was quick to figure out the problem, someone close to me signed up and the system thought I had more than one account per household, which is not allowed, but they fixed the problem within 24 hours.
I will be posting a lookbook later on using all the items I received that fit me and I will be posting another haul video when my other 5 orders arrive so be on the look out for those.

I am going to go over the basics of how to raise your score on Influenster. You'll want to raise it so you can qualify for more voxboxes. If you don't know what Influenster is you can learn more here; Blog About Influenster
1. Link Your Social Media Accounts to Influenster; Linking your accounts will help Influenster see your impact on social media accounts. I would recommend you add as many social media networks as you have. I personally think Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are the main ones, since Influenster normally give you tasks for voxboxes that have to do with these main networks. It may take a day or two for your score to go up after you link your account so be patient if it doesn't automatically go up.
2. Answer All Your Snaps; These are mostly them just asking you to link your social media accounts as well, if you don't have the network they are asking for just click skip.
3. Unlock Badges; You'll want to unlock as many Expert and Lifestyle Badges as possible. Fill out any surveys and review items in each category to be eligible for voxboxes that have to do with each badge. The more you do, the more likely you are to be included in a voxbox.
4. Regularly Check for Campaigns; Sometimes you will be invited to do Virtual Voxboxes, you won't receive anything at first but you may later on. For example, in the next photo you'll notice the eBay Campaigns, these are virtual. I've completed all three available and so far I have received two codes by email for $10 eBay gift cards and I am currently waiting on a $25 one via email
5. Review Items You Already Own; When you review items you get points towards badges which make you more likely to be picked for boxes. When I'm bored I'll go around my room with a small basket and throw some items in it, hair products, make up, etc and I will look them up on Influenster and leave reviews. I will also purchase items and review them after a week or so of having them. You get 5 points towards badges when you leave reviews. For example I just left a review for a NYX Hd Studio Foundation and I got 5 points for the Beauty Badge.

6. Ask/Answer Questions; After you've left a review for something, check out the questions on the products page and if you can, answer some. Also if you're wanting to know something about a product before purchasing it, go on the products page and ask it. Here is a photo where I got 5 more points towards my Beauty Badge for answering someones question.
7. Complete Tasks for Boxes You've Already Received; If you have received a voxbox make sure you complete the tasks, you want to do all the Brand Tasks, each task will give X amount of points towards your main score.
You can also do the other tasks, these points won't be worth as much points, but every point counts.
Also just be patient and remember you have to put in work to get items. If you have a popular blog or youtube, you will probably be qualified for many voxboxes without too much work but for other people, myself included, you get what you put in.
Another tip; Add Influenster to your VIP/favorites in your email so that any emails from them will automatically pop up. I did this awhile back so that when I get surveys for boxes, I am automatically notified and I can complete them asap. Also that way I don't forget to check my email and miss out.

In return for the free items they send you all they ask is for you to do is a few tasks for each voxbox you get, the tasks are all easy and fun to do. An example would be to post a photo on instagram using the brands and voxboxes hashtags and let your friends know what you think of the items you received.
Yes, Influesnter is completely free, you never have to pay for anything they send you and it is completely free to join.
Is Influenster legit?
Yes, they are very legit and I will add in some photos of voxboxes I have received recently.
I signed up but my score is really low, how do I fix this?
When you first sign up make sure you link all your social media accounts to help raise your score. After you do that you're going to want to go into the badges and start unlocking them, by answering questions and leaving reviews on items you already have around the house. If you've done all this and your score is still low, continue leaving reviews, asking questions, etc and just be patient, sometimes Influenster takes awhile to update your score.
Why do I need to raise my score?
Your score is going to help you be more qualified for Voxboxes, as well as your badges, you will want to try to maintain a high score to be eligible for more boxes.
