DIY | Autumn Moodboard Tutorial + Groovebook Review & Free Photo Book!

Autumn is right around the corner and I'm pretty excited.
I've already brought out all my sweaters and started making adorable autumn themed décor items.
Here is one of my favorite creations so far ;
a autumn themed moodboard

This is great to stay inspired and I just love seeing the photographs hanging above my desk

 Supplies ;
Corkboard
Paint
Cup of Water
Paint Brush
& Photos ( from groovebook, your printer, or magazines)

Don't forget you can add random things to spice your board up, after filming this I added some images from magazines, fabric, twine, and other little items I found around.

Get a free groovebook by using promo code JENKINS7582

* Groovebook review ; this was actually my first groovebook I ordered and I am pretty satisfied with the quality. I ordered this with the intentions of using the photos for a DIY project so most of the photos I uploaded were from pinterest and google but I did send in some personal photos taken from my phone, there is a difference in quality but this is because of my phone, not Groovebook. With that being said the photos from my phone were still good quality as seen in the photo below. I will continue to use Groovebook because the price is great and I love the idea of getting a book of photos every month for just $3. It's great for personal photos, photos for moodboards/inspiration, and photos for DIY projects.

What is Groovebook? Groovebook is an app you download to your phone for free, their books are $3 per month (but you can get your first one free with promo code JENKINS7582) and they send you a book with 100 photos. The photos can be ripped out or kept in the book, that's up to you because they come with easy to rip edges. If you can't find 100 photos to print, fear not because they will actually just send you duplicates.

Plants are Friends.. ♥

Lately I've been obsessed with Brandy Melville clothing but one shirt that really stands out to me is this one;

It's so adorable but I can't find it anywhere online for a reasonable price so when I get a chance, I'll make my own. Anyways back to the post.

Plants are Friends.
I got inspired from this shirt and 2 things happened;

Number one;

I made some adorable plant chokers for my poshmark & mercari shops.
Here is a link to my shop if you want to check it out;
and my to find me on Mercari just search BasicallyBella
most items are cheaper on Mercari than on Poshmark because of fees.
I'm so happy with the way the turned out and I can't wait to make more. I made one Cactus and one Succulent choker so far.

Number 2;

I bought two baby Cacti  ♥
I also found this small wooden crate at Goodwill for $1.50!
Cacti ; $1.99 each at CVS
Rocks; $1 at the Dollar Tree
Pots ; 2 for $1 at the Dollar Tree
Buddha ; I already had

So that's all for now, I thought I'd share.

Influenster; My First VoxBox FREE ITEMS #JollyVoxBox

What is influenster?
"Influenster is a free-to-join community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences.
The Influenster site is a hub where members meet to learn about new products from our favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives!
Influenster invites its most active members to participate in exclusive VoxBox programs where members receive complimentary products to test and review. In exchange, we ask our members to do what they already love to do: share their opinions with their friends & followers on social media!
But that's not all. We have a lot going on including digital challenges, twitter parties, & contests!"
 Which basically means that they send you free products  try and to review & share with you friends. I honestly thought it was a cool thing to do when I was bored, you start off by unlocking expert badges and then unlocking other badges, you also write reviews on items you've purchased and liked, its really fun and great for when you're bored, I personally didn't expect to get a voxbox  so soon because I had heard that it is hard to get  on because they have limited supplies and so many users but I do believe its based on how active you are on the site, the more active you are, the better your chance of getting one.
 Now I will tell you about the Vox Box I got which is called the #JollyVoxBox. It is their holiday Vox Box and inside it was the following;
I was super excited to get this and to start trying the products inside! So now I will tell  you about the products I received, complimentary of influenster.com. The first item was the Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer I got it in the shade Aurora which is a pretty shade of red, at first glance I thought that I wouldn't like it, I've always admired girls that could pull of the red lips look but I personally was not one of them but I did try the lip lacquer on and I actually liked the outcome, Rimmel did a great  job with this product, it went on smooth and it wasn't sticky. I love the way it looked on me and now I feel confident enough to wear red lipstick out. Plus the texture and wand makes it super easy to apply an even coat. I will include a photo of me wearing this product here
You can purchase this lip lacquer at any local CVS, Walgreens, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, etc. I can't remember the price but it was under $7 so it is also inexpensive which is a plus.

The next item was the NYC, New York City Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow, I absolutely loved the colors I got, Oh Soho Sweet, it was neutral shades of brown/creamy pink. I love these shades for an everyday look and I like that they have a sparkle to them. Also they are super affordable, they're only $2.99! Perfect for ladies on a budget! You can get them at your local CVS, Walgreens, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, & Rite-Aid.

Next on the list is the Ducklings Mini Rolls, I got the plaint splatter one, which is super cute. I looked on their facebook page and noticed that they have a lot of other cute designs, my favorite is  the blue/purple leopard print, which I will be purchasing for future crafts. I love that they have a variety of designs and you can use them for lots of different things, I used mine to make a headband (I will add a picture below) and to tape packages to ship out. This duct tape really comes in handy, I saw other girls using  it for duct tape wallets, bracelets, etc. I'm not sure the cost of this but you can purchase it at Wal*Mart and I noticed they have it at a nearby Family Dollar Store.

I also got a Pass the Puffs to Go Pack of Tissues which definitely came in handy since I was sick when I received my #JollyVoxBox. I carried these around with me in my bag when I went out on errands and I carried them around the house as I done house cleaning. They were really convenient to have in the bed with me instead of having a large tissue box beside me.

Finally the last thing I got was some Skinny Cow Candy, which I personally wasn't too into because I got peanut butter flavored candy, which I don't like. I did hand them out to my family to see how well they liked them and everyone loved them. My mother took most of them to carry to work with her because she always gets a sweet tooth at work and she says they are perfect, a nice flavor and not as many calories.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them? Do you have an influenster account? How well do you like the site?

 "I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."
