Another Influenster Voxbox Review, I seriously go months without a voxbox then out of the blue I'll get a few, they normally come in twos and I love it! It's like getting a huge surprise in the mail. With these last two voxboxs, its really gotten me back into Influenster, I admit I slacked off for a few months, where I moved around quite a bit plus I gave up because I stopped getting snaps/surveys for boxes but now that I'm back and I've seen all the amazing updates, I'm hooked. I have the app and I browse on it whenever I'm bored, reading reviews, asking questions, and answering questions. Now on to this voxbox.

I got three full sized St Ives items.

1. Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Exfoliating Body Wash which smells amazing, the day I got it I decided to have a pamper night, I took a bubble bath and used all three products. This body was is great, I give it 5/5 stars because it just smells so freaking good and it made my skin feel so soft. 

2. Nourished & Smooth Oatmeal Scrub + Mask this smells good, not as good as the body was but still good. I was pretty excited to try this because my skin is soo dry and flaky and I'm really loving this! I put it on as a mask while I took a bath and it left my face feeling amazing! I now use it every other day as a mask because I feel its better that way. I also give this product a 5/5 stars.

3. Refresh & Revive Pear Nectar & Soy Body Lotion doesn't really sit well with me and its because I'm not a fan of the pear smell. Other than that, this product is good, it left me skin soft and refreshed. I did use it a few times and then gave it to my mom because she loves the scent and needed a good lotion. I give this a 4.5/5 stars and that's because I personally didn't like the smell but it works well and I would purchase it in another scent. 

That pretty much sums it up for the St Ives items.

KISS Lashes False Eyelashes in Posh and Adhesive Glue with Aloe in Black 

I recently got to try out some Kiss Lashes and Kiss Adhesive thanks to Influenster. If you want to check influenster out, see the bottom of this post for more info.

As you can see me and these lashes didn't get along. The right one was a little hard to get on but nothing compared to the left lashes. The Adhesive Glue comes out in clumps and is very hard to work with. I've included some photos to show how these lashes looked after I tried them on. The photo above shows me wearing the lashes. 

  As you can see in this photo, I barely squeezed the tube and out came a glob. This adhesive might work better if you put it on a flat surface, but since I only had one pair of lashes and the adhesive messed up the actual lashes I couldn't try it again. 

Another thing I did not like about the adhesive is that its black, in theory this seems great but in reality the black smeared all over my eye when I was trying to get them on, messing up my makeup.

Would I recommend these lashes to someone else?

Yes, they are very affordable and for someone that applies lashes regularly, I'm sure it would be much easier.

Would I recommend the adhesive to someone else?

No, its too messy. I want to be able to just put the lashes on and go, not have to redo my make up or removed black adhesive from my eyes/face.

Here is my first impression for each item. 

[ one ] Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

I was/am extremely excited for this because I recently fell in love with Cetaphil lotion. I have really dry skin and so far Cetaphil has been my holy grail, I immediately opened the moisturizing cream and put some one the dry spots on my face and noticed a difference immediately. I've used it every day since. I personally love the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream and plan to buy a full sized jar soon.

I've never had the Biscoff brand of cookies but I took a scroll through Pinterest and saw some delicious looking inspiration. I recently ordered a Keurig Coffee Machine so I'm trying to hold off to try them with a nice cup of coffee but they look so delicious I don't know if I can wait that long.

[ three ] Ore-Ida Tator Tots

Well I love tator tots and I love Ore-Ida so I know I'll love this but I do have to admit, I've always ate tator tots by baking them and adding ketchup, one task for these is to make a recipe so naturally I went on Pinterest and many ideas, things I would have never thought of, so I'll definitely be trying out a few of those and making some of my own.

[ four ] Rapunzel Itty Bitty from Hallmark

These Itty Bittys are sooo adorable, sadly my Rapunzel has a lopsided head :/ I'm not sure if that's how she's made or if mine just got smashed. Before I got this voxbox I had never heard of Itty Bittys so I googled them and saw all the adorable collections, I know I'll have to get Olaf, Yoda, Bambi, and many more! Plus they are so cheap ($6.95) and make great gifts for the little ones in your life. My niece loves the Rapunzel one and soon she will be hers.

[ five ] NYC City Proof  24 Hour Waterproof Eyeliner 

I've been looking for a nice brown eyeliner for awhile now, so I'm hoping this works. I love that I got brown because brown really makes my eyes pop. I'm also intrigued with the 24 hour, waterproof.

[ six - seven ] Kiss True Volume Lashes & Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe 

I think falsies are cute, but I've never really gotten the hang of putting them on but this glue seems to be much better than ones I've used in the past so hopefully everything goes well. I like that the glue has aloe and I am loving the look of these lashes, I can't wait to get all dolled up one day and give these babies a try.

[ eight ] Pure Ice Nail Polish

I got "Keep Walking" which at first glance I thought was a solid glittery purple but after testing it, I realized its a clear with glitter and sparkles and it looks great over a lighter shade of purple. Sadly I don't wear much purple but I just had to give it a try on New Years Eve to add some sparkle to my New Years and I love how it looks layered up.

Influenster; Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Review

The YSL Voxbox is an iconic box that was only sent to 4,000 Influensters and I was lucky enough to be one of the lucky girls to get it. I was super excited to get this voxbox because I was in need of a new mascara to try, my old one was just not doing what I wanted. 

So finally I got my voxbox in the mail and I tried it that night. Here is my unboxing video; 

My first impression was "WOW, this makes my lashes look great". I loved how thick my lashes looked after applying the mascara. I only applied one coat that evening and I loved the result, there's a photo below from that night; 

I have very short eyelashes and very few so I rely on mascara to give me fuller eyelashes and this mascara really made my lashes bolder. 

The next day I used the Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils while doing my make up and this time I applied 2-3 coats and I loved the results, my lashes looked so much fuller and my friends noticed it. 

The thing I love most about YSL's Effet Faux Cils mascara is that it is has B5 Vitamins so not only does it make my lashes look amazing, it helps keep them soft. After 2-3 coats my lashes weren't clumpy, which has always been a  problem for me with other mascaras. The only thing I disliked about the mascara was the smell, alot of girls said they thought it smelled good but I didn't really like it, thankfully it wasn't that strong and didn't last long.  I will definitely be purchasing this mascara in the future and if you're interested in purchasing it, here is the link;

How to Raise Your Influenster Score and Get More Voxboxes Tips and Tricks

  If you are reading this post you probably already have an Influenster account, if you do not, you can join here; www.influenster.com/r/490414

I am going to go over the basics of how to raise your score on Influenster. You'll want to raise it so you can qualify for more voxboxes. If you don't know what Influenster is you can learn more here; Blog About Influenster 

1. Link Your Social Media Accounts to Influenster; Linking your accounts will help Influenster see your impact on social media accounts. I would recommend you add as many social media networks as you have. I personally think Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are the main ones, since Influenster normally give you tasks for voxboxes that have to do with these main networks. It may take a day or two for your score to go up after you link your account so be patient if it doesn't automatically go up. 

2. Answer All Your Snaps; These are mostly them just asking you to link your social media accounts as well, if you don't have the network they are asking for just click skip. 

3. Unlock Badges; You'll want to unlock as many Expert and Lifestyle Badges as possible. Fill out any surveys and review items in each category to be eligible for voxboxes that have to do with each badge. The more you do, the more likely you are to be included in a voxbox.

4. Regularly Check for Campaigns; Sometimes you will be invited to do Virtual Voxboxes, you won't receive anything at first but you may later on. For example, in the next photo you'll notice the eBay Campaigns, these are virtual. I've completed all three available and so far I have received two codes by email for $10 eBay gift cards and I am currently waiting on a $25 one via email

5. Review Items You Already Own; When you review items you get points towards badges which make you more likely to be picked for boxes. When I'm bored I'll go around my room with a small basket and throw some items in it, hair products, make up, etc and I will look them up on Influenster and leave reviews. I will also purchase items and review them after a week or so of having them. You get 5 points towards badges when you leave reviews. For example I just left a review for a NYX Hd Studio Foundation  and I got 5 points for the Beauty Badge. 

. 

6. Ask/Answer Questions; After you've left a review for something, check out the questions on the products page and if you can, answer some. Also if you're wanting to know something about a product before purchasing it, go on the products page and ask it. Here is a photo where I got 5 more points towards my Beauty Badge for answering someones question. 

7. Complete Tasks for Boxes You've Already Received; If you have received a voxbox make sure you complete the tasks, you want to do all the Brand Tasks, each task will give X amount of points towards your main score. 

You can also do the other tasks, these points won't be worth as much points, but every point counts. 

Also just be patient and remember you have to put in work to get items. If you have a popular blog or youtube, you will probably be qualified for many voxboxes without too much work but for other people, myself included, you get what you put in. 

Another tip; Add Influenster to your VIP/favorites in your email so that any emails from them will automatically pop up. I did this awhile back so that when I get surveys for boxes, I am automatically notified and I can complete them asap. Also that way I don't forget to check my email and miss out.

Let's start out with basic answers to questions that may be going through your head.

What is Influenster?

I signed up but my score is really low, how do I fix this?

When you first sign up make sure you link all your social media accounts to help raise your score. After you do that you're going to want to go into the badges and start unlocking them, by answering questions and leaving reviews on items you already have around the house. If you've done all this and your score is still low, continue leaving reviews, asking questions, etc and just be patient, sometimes Influenster takes awhile to update your score. 

Why do I need to raise my score?

Your score is going to help you be more qualified for Voxboxes, as well as your badges, you will want to try to maintain a high score to be eligible for more boxes.

Influenster; My First VoxBox FREE ITEMS #JollyVoxBox

 Which basically means that they send you free products  try and to review & share with you friends. I honestly thought it was a cool thing to do when I was bored, you start off by unlocking expert badges and then unlocking other badges, you also write reviews on items you've purchased and liked, its really fun and great for when you're bored, I personally didn't expect to get a voxbox  so soon because I had heard that it is hard to get  on because they have limited supplies and so many users but I do believe its based on how active you are on the site, the more active you are, the better your chance of getting one.
 Now I will tell you about the Vox Box I got which is called the #JollyVoxBox. It is their holiday Vox Box and inside it was the following;

I was super excited to get this and to start trying the products inside! So now I will tell  you about the products I received, complimentary of influenster.com. The first item was the Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer I got it in the shade Aurora which is a pretty shade of red, at first glance I thought that I wouldn't like it, I've always admired girls that could pull of the red lips look but I personally was not one of them but I did try the lip lacquer on and I actually liked the outcome, Rimmel did a great  job with this product, it went on smooth and it wasn't sticky. I love the way it looked on me and now I feel confident enough to wear red lipstick out. Plus the texture and wand makes it super easy to apply an even coat. I will include a photo of me wearing this product here

You can purchase this lip lacquer at any local CVS, Walgreens, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, etc. I can't remember the price but it was under $7 so it is also inexpensive which is a plus.

 

The next item was the NYC, New York City Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow, I absolutely loved the colors I got, Oh Soho Sweet, it was neutral shades of brown/creamy pink. I love these shades for an everyday look and I like that they have a sparkle to them. Also they are super affordable, they're only $2.99! Perfect for ladies on a budget! You can get them at your local CVS, Walgreens, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, & Rite-Aid.

 

Next on the list is the Ducklings Mini Rolls, I got the plaint splatter one, which is super cute. I looked on their facebook page and noticed that they have a lot of other cute designs, my favorite is  the blue/purple leopard print, which I will be purchasing for future crafts. I love that they have a variety of designs and you can use them for lots of different things, I used mine to make a headband (I will add a picture below) and to tape packages to ship out. This duct tape really comes in handy, I saw other girls using  it for duct tape wallets, bracelets, etc. I'm not sure the cost of this but you can purchase it at Wal*Mart and I noticed they have it at a nearby Family Dollar Store.

 

I also got a Pass the Puffs to Go Pack of Tissues which definitely came in handy since I was sick when I received my #JollyVoxBox. I carried these around with me in my bag when I went out on errands and I carried them around the house as I done house cleaning. They were really convenient to have in the bed with me instead of having a large tissue box beside me.

 

Finally the last thing I got was some Skinny Cow Candy, which I personally wasn't too into because I got peanut butter flavored candy, which I don't like. I did hand them out to my family to see how well they liked them and everyone loved them. My mother took most of them to carry to work with her because she always gets a sweet tooth at work and she says they are perfect, a nice flavor and not as many calories.
